Julien joined IMK in 2009. His practice is mainly focused on civil and commercial litigation. He is regularly involved in complex cases, which overlap several areas of law and has accumulated extensive court room experience. His expertise has led him to delve into the areas of real estate and construction litigation, in which he has participated in major cases, in addition to acting in the context of shareholder disputes.

Julien also practices in disciplinary law, representing various professionals before their disciplinary boards. He has a varied clientele, composed of individuals and private companies, as well as foreign investors active in real estate.

Terrasse Trafalgar Condominium v. LVM Technisol et al.: Terrasse Trafalgar Condominium in a construction dispute concerning the poor design and execution of a roof  

Buesco Construction Inc. v. Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont: Buesco in the context of a 70-day trial before the Superior Court, and the Quebec Court of Appeal, following the cancellation of its construction contract by HMR.

San Massimo Construction Inc. v. Edifice Le Coin: San Massimo Construction Inc. in a construction dispute concerning the cancellation of a contract for the construction of a hotel in Old Montreal.

Bill Wong Inc. v. 9093-7244 Québec Inc. et al: Bill Wong Inc. in a real estate dispute, in order to recover funds and revenues misappropriated by a fraudulent scheme.

3515184 Canada Inc. v. Famous Players Limited Partnership and Fortune Cinema Inc.: Famous Players Limited Partnership in a motion for a safeguard order to obtain the payment of rent.

Royal Trust, as liquidator of the Succession of L. (L.) v. E. (J.): Royal Trust, in an action to recover a highly valuable collection of paintings.

Fargnoli v. GE Equipment Financing Canada: GE Equipment Financing in an employment law dispute concerning the granting of loans in a corporate restructuring context.

Blue Box International Ltd. v. Mega Brands Inc.: Mega Brands in a contractual dispute initiated by a Chinese manufacturer which resulted in a damage award in favour of Mega Brands for loss of sales.

Writing of an opinion tabled in the Quebec National Assembly pertaining to eventual recourses against the companies cited in the context of the Charbonneau Commission.
