In the context of a shareholder dispute, IMK successfully contested a motion for receivership and Mareva injunction against its client John Scotti Automotive Ltd. and related companies. The Superior Court dismissed the plaintiffs' motions on all grounds applicable to this type of injunction and declared the motion abusive (2024 QCCS 4556).
