In 2024, IMK was part of the team that represented minority shareholder Browning West in the Gildan case, achieving a landmark victory by successfully reconstituting Gildan's entire board and reinstating CEO Glenn Chamandy. The legal battle involved defending a motion before the Superior Court of Quebec (2024 QCCS 1795), while simultaneously fighting a complaint before the Tribunal administratif des marchés financiers (2024 QCTMF 20). This victory is recognized as the most successful proxy campaign in Canadian history.
