IMK represented its client on appeal to overturn the trial court's decision in an oppression action challenging the forced buyout of 3903460's shares through the application of a penal clause. On appeal, IMK successfully had the penal clause declared abusive (2025 QCCS 1338, 2022 QCCA 1445) .
