Mathilde Couture

Mathilde joined IMK in 2018 as a law student and completed her articling with the firm in 2020.

She obtained both her Bachelor of Laws and her Master of Business Administration in 2019 from the Université de Sherbrooke through the cooperative Droit-MBA program. Her academic path allowed her to develop skills across multiple fields and complete three internships: the first in the legal services department of a public body, the second with IMK, and the third in the human resources department of a law firm. In the fall of 2018, she also participated in a student exchange at Leicester Law School in the United Kingdom.

Since being called to the Bar, Mathilde has been involved in a wide range of civil, commercial, and real estate matters. She has pleaded before several courts, including the Court of Québec and the Superior Court, and has also represented clients in arbitration proceedings. These experiences have allowed her to develop a rigorous and practical approach to litigation, focused on delivering concrete solutions to her clients’ legal challenges.
