Maéva Robert

Maéva has acquired extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and class actions. She acts in cases raising complex issues in a variety of fields and industries, including aeronautics, wind power, construction, employment law, sale of businesses and product liability.
Her practice encompasses all aspects of dispute resolution, from advising on cases prior to litigation, to representing clients in mediation and before all levels of court. Maéva has solid experience in pleading cases, notably before the Quebec Court of Appeal, and has taken part in several lengthy trials.
Maéva is also actively involved in professional and community associations. She is Co-President of the Quebec division of The Advocates’ Society’s Young Advocates Standing Committee (YASC) and a member of the Quebec Regional Advisory Committee (RAC). Maéva is also a professor at the École du Barreau, where she teaches ‘Theory of the Case and Drafting’.
Maéva joined IMK in May 2024, after practicing for over 8 years with a national firm. She completed her academic training with a Master of Law from the University of Montréal, with a thesis on access to justice.
