Anthony Breton
Associate
Anthony Breton joined IMK in 2025. He holds a law degree from the University of Montreal and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Concordia University.
Passionate about fundamental rights, Anthony studied international human rights law in Costa Rica and Norway. He also served as a law clerk to the Honourable Judge Howard Morrison at the Appeals Division of the International Criminal Court, as well as an intern at the Global Legal Research Directorate of the U.S. Library of Congress, and at the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mauritania. He has also worked on issues at the intersection of new technologies and human rights at Global Affairs Canada.
Before joining IMK, Anthony completed a clerkship with the Honourable Chief Justice Marc Noël, K.C., at the Federal Court of Appeal and with the Honourable Michelle O’Bonsawin at the Supreme Court of Canada.
At IMK, Anthony is involved in a variety of files and is particularly interested in class actions, constitutional law, administrative law, and appellate litigation.
