Sophie represents the Regulatory Division of the Bourse de Montréal in proceedings before the Exchange's Disciplinary Committee.

She participated in proceedings against large financial institutions, firms, and individuals who had violated the Exchange's rules. The alleged violations included lack of supervision, spoofing (false intentions to buy or sell in order to manipulate the market), and front running (executing transactions for one's own account before those of clients).
