Janet Michelin appointed to the Superior Court.

It is with great pride that IMK announces Janet Michelin’s nomination to the Superior Court of Quebec. Having started her career with IMK 25 years ago, she has become a pillar of the firm, having acted as managing partner in recent years, and a reference for her colleagues in the field of estates and employment law. A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), she has given numerous conferences on these subjects and has also been involved with the Canadian Bar Association. She also taught trial advocacy at McGill University’s Faculty of Law for many years. She was recognized as a leading practitioner by Best Lawyers in Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Labour and Employment Law and Trusts and Estates.

Her appointment to the bench is excellent news for all litigants who will benefit from her empathy, ability to listen and expertise. We wish her the best of luck in this new chapter of her life.
