Cohen v. Cohen.

IMK successfully represented the plaintiff in an action involving the liability of a trustee and the professional liability of a notary who respectively forced and let her sign a deed of hypothec against her will. The Superior Court recognized that the notary had failed in his duty to advise to the plaintiff, in light of her personal characteristics, and should have refused to instrument the deed (2025 QCCS 1581).
