Appointment of Peter Kalichman at the Quebec Superior Court.

IMK wishes to congratulate our (now former) partner Peter Kalichman on his appointment as a justice of the Québec Superior Court.

As a firm, we are obviously saddened to lose one of the province’s foremost litigators. However, it is Peter’s contribution to the firm over the past 17 years as a partner, friend and mentor, and his overall humanity, that we will truly miss. All of these attributes will contribute immeasurably to the quality of justice in the Superior Court.

Peter leaves the firm on solid footing and with much greater depth than when he arrived. IMK now includes ten partners, each leading litigators in their own right, as well as a group of 11 talented younger litigators committed to meeting the standard of excellence in work and in service that Peter demanded of everyone with whom he worked.

We thank Peter for 17 wonderful years, and wish him all the best on the other side at the Palais de justice. And as for the future, we will pursue IMK’s commitment to excellence and the firm’s increasing contribution to the legal community.
