Real Estate Litigation

Our lawyers have argued several precedent-setting real-estate cases. Whether a matter involves complex litigation concerning commercial leases and their interpretation or termination, questions of servitude or other real rights, soil remediation, vendor liability or the rights and obligations of real estate agents, our lawyers are up to the task.

For example, we successfully represented a shopping centre owner in contesting exclusivity rights associated with a personal servitude. We also currently represent the federal government in a lawsuit pertaining to an option to purchase. We have experience in representing franchisors before the courts and we regularly represent commercial landlords and tenants in relation to their rights under commercial leases.
