Francis joined IMK in 2014, after having completed his Master of Law at the University of Cambridge. In the course of his studies, he was a member of the winning teams of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and the Oxford French Law Moot. He was a law clerk to the Honourable Marc Noël of the Federal Court of Appeal.

Francis developed a marked interest in administrative law, constitutional law and intellectual property. He represents a wide range of clients, from individuals to large public and private corporations. In particular, he has acquired valuable experience in injunctive remedies.

Representative work

Aircelle SAS et al. c. Bombardier Inc. et al.: Aircelle SAS et al. in a $95 million lawsuit for abusive termination of a supplier contract for the aviation Learjet 85 program. 

Tugliq Énergie S.A.R.L. v. Stolt LNGaz Inc.: Represented several named defendants in injunction proceedings brought before the Superior Court involving a liquefied natural gas facility in Bécancour Quebec.

Ludmer et al. v. Canada Revenue Agency: Ludmer in an action taken against the CRA for abusive conduct during the course of an audit and reassessment.

Multiver Ltée v. Wood et al.: Multiver in an action in damages against directors of a bankrupt company.
